Rewrite began as a voluntary organisation in October 2000 and was set up in direct response to negative media around the issue of refuge and asylum. The organisation became constituted in 2004 and achieved charity status in 2005. In 2006 we won the Capital Community Foundation’s Award for outstanding work with young people and in 2012 the Global Fund for Children acknowledged our work through a Rising Star Award.
Our work has featured in a British Council publication and in the Financial Times.
“It was a real pleasure to witness how powerful and necessary your company’s work is in the community.”
